  A newly built 5E3 Deluxe Clone amplifier built by hand here at Triode. The amplifier features our Paper Bobbin interleaved output transformer and a power transformer cloned from an original 5E3. Built to original specs with modern component upgrades such as fiberglass turretboard, Mallory 150 Coupling capacitors, Sprague Atom electrolytic caps, Carbon composition resistors, High quality plate resistors for low noise, wirewound 5W cathode resistor, Belton sockets, vintage cloth covered pushback wiring, reissue Jenson P12Q speaker, high quality CTS pots, grounded three prong power cord, and Switchcraft jacks. The amp has been assembled and tested by hand. The amplifier has a primary fuse and a HV fuse to protect the amp from damage in case of a tube failure. Amplifier comes equipped with a matched pair of JJ 6V6's, EH 12AY7 and 12AX7, and NOS blackplate Tung Sol 5Y3. Features Tweed covered pine cabinet with leather handle and nice chrome plated chassis. This amp was built as a prototype to test components types for upcoming kits, has the absolute best of everything and sounds absolutely stunning, this thing really cranks when turned all the way up.
